- Engage in self-promotion disguised as community engagement
- Post misleading, false, or defamatory content
Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited on Music Ecosystem HIVEs:
- Hate speech, discriminatory language, or content targeting individuals based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or nationality
- Harassment, threats, bullying, or targeted abuse of any kind
- Unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or pyramid schemes
- Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Malware, phishing attempts, or other malicious content
- Content that is illegal under German or EU law
- Disclosure of personal data of others without consent
Professional Standards
HIVEs is a professional community. We expect members to:
- Use their real professional identity — pseudonyms are not permitted
- Represent their current role and organisation accurately
- Disclose when content is sponsored, promotional, or affiliated
- Respect non-disclosure agreements and confidentiality obligations
- Not solicit employment from other members' teams without prior relationship
Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines are handled proportionally:
Warning
A private notice for minor or first-time violations. No further action if behaviour is corrected.
Content Removal
Removal of the offending content and a formal warning. Repeated minor violations escalate here.
Temporary Suspension
Temporary removal of access to the platform for serious or repeated violations.
Permanent Ban
Permanent removal from the community for severe violations including harassment, hate speech, or illegal activity.
Reporting
If you witness a violation of these guidelines, please report it to us. All reports are handled confidentially. We take every report seriously and will respond within 48 hours.

Please include as much context as possible: what occurred, when, and any supporting evidence. Malicious or false reports are themselves a violation of these guidelines.
Changes to These Guidelines
These guidelines evolve with our community. We may update them as the platform grows. Significant changes will be communicated to members. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the current guidelines.
